I'm interested in one of the jobs advertised, what do I do?

To apply for a job advertised on HEJobs please click the "APPLY NOW" button just beneath the job title.

I'd like to find out more about an advertised job, who do I contact?

Please contact the university that has advertised the vacancy, they will be able to tell you more. The contact details should be published together with the rest of the job details. The only information we know about the jobs is what is already published on HEJobs, so we won't be able to tell you more.

How do I let an employer know I am interested in a job on HEJobs?

If you find a job that you like, just apply! or email the employer via your HEJobs Dashboard

A couple of days ago I saw a job advertised, but I can't find it now, could you contact me with the advertiser?

No we can't. If the advert is not there any longer, it's because the employer doesn't want to receive more applications.

What are the benefits of registering?

By registering with HEJobs you can save your searches and favorite jobs, set up multiple instant/daily email notifications of new vacancies that match your search criteria and contact employers online. How can I submit my CV or résumé?

When you apply for a job you will create a Career Profile in our system, and you'll be asked to either enter your CV/résumé as plain text, or upload your CV/résumé in a standard file format.

Acceptable CV/résumé file formats include: Microsoft® Word (.doc and .docx); Plain Text (.txt); Rich Text Format (.rtf); Hypertext Markup Language (.htm or .html); and Portable Document Format (.pdf).

How do I update my personal details?

You may update your personal details by logging into your job seeker profile

Is my personal information kept private?

Yes! Protecting your privacy is a vital part of our mission.Only registered employers can view your information.

If you are unhappy with who is contacting you through HEJobs, simply adjust your job preferences or just log in and turn off your profile.

Do I have to pay to use HEJobs?

No! HEJobs is FREE for all job seekers.
