The Wits School of Education is seeking to appoint a suitable candidate at Lecturer /Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor level in Mathematics Education to join a dynamic team of mathematics educators and to contribute to the School's teacher education and postgraduate programmes, and to its research activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate must meet the following criteria to be appointed:
- PhD in Mathematics Education;
- Strong background in Mathematics;
- Evidence of research ability or potential (a publication record would be an advantage);
- A track record of competent teaching in Mathematics Education, at school level and/or in higher education;
- A proven ability to supervise at postgraduate level (Honours, Masters, and PhD) would be an advantage
Remuneration: Dependent on qualifications and relevant experience
