NATURE OF APPOINTMENT Permanent support services

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant three-year diploma / degree with three year's working experience of research office administration with focus on grants administration, administration of research outputs and committee secretariat services at a higher education institution.

DESIRED QUALIFICATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant postgraduate qualification and more than five years working experience in research office administration, with in-depth focus on grants administration, administration of research outputs and committee secretariat services at a higher education institution.

MAIN TASKS

  1. Administration of all research outputs relevant for submission to the DHET.
  2. Provision of secretariat services for the URIC and URIC sub-committees and working groups
  3. Financial administration of all CUT funded M & D research grants
  4. Data administration and administrative recordkeeping of all projects and partnerships relevant to research
  5. Financial administration of all external research grants to staff
  6. Develop reports
