Duties:

Challenging teaching and research opportunities currently exist for established subject specialists in the following Accountancy-related subjects: Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Taxation and Auditing (which includes Information Systems and Business Ethics).

Job Requirements:

  • An appropriate Honours degree in Accounting;
  • Chartered Accountant (SA);
  • Meeting the criteria for academic excellence;
  • A commitment to research and social impact/community involvement;
  • The ability to lecture in Afrikaans or English, handle departmental administration and work in a team;
  • Willingness to be involved for a limited period in SAICA's Thuthuka project and the lecturing of Information Systems and/or Business Ethics.

Recommendation:

The ability to lecture in both Afrikaans and English.
