Faculty of Educational Sciences wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced employee to support and add value to the outputs of the department.


  • Master of Education (M+5) – NQF Level 9
  • A professional teaching qualification
  • Driver’s licence will be an added advantage
  • At least honours level in English


  • Minimum of three years lecturing in a higher education setting

Key Performance Areas:

  • To lecture English at Undergraduate Diploma and Degree levels
  • Compile teaching materials
  • Conduct assessments
  • Perform administrative duties associated with the students he/she teaches
  • Provide supervision to post graduate students
  • Conduct research, publish and engage in community activities


  • Sound interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work as a member of a team
  • Critical thinking and interpretative skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Research skills
  • Motor Car Driving skills
