Job Seeker Conditions

1. You indemnify HEJobs against all claims, actions, suits, liabilities, costs and expenses incurred as a result of the listing or intended listing of any resume by you on www.HEJobs.co.za.
2. HEJobs makes every effort to ensure registered job seekers’ information is treated in the strictest confidence. However, you will not hold HEJobs responsible if your resume is unlawfully copied or distributed without consent.
3. Access to the candidate database is restricted to HEJobs clients approved for resume search capabilities and issued privileged access codes. Such clients may only use the database to identify candidates whose preferences match current vacancies. You indemnify HEJobs against wrongful conduct by its clients.
4. While HEJobs implements precautionary measures to ensure the website is free from viruses, it cannot guarantee files downloaded or emails delivered via the site are free of infection. You are responsible for maintaining protective software and external backups.
5. You agree to ensure your resume on HEJobs is free from viruses or destructive code.
6. HEJobs reserves the right to reject or remove any resume from its site(s) for any reason.
7. You agree to present yourself truthfully in your resumes on HEJobs.
8. HEJobs makes every effort to deliver applications promptly. You will not hold HEJobs liable for any loss or damage resulting from delays or failures in delivery.
9. You agree to use information or products provided by HEJobs in compliance with all applicable laws of the Republic of South Africa, including privacy and copyright laws.
10. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HEJobs and its associates exclude liability for any loss or damage (including indirect or consequential loss) arising from use of or reliance on services. Liability is limited to re-supply of services or refund of payments, except where failure is attributable to your actions or omissions.
11. You agree to keep HEJobs and its associates indemnified against liabilities arising from actions or claims brought against HEJobs due to your breach of law or misuse of services.
12. You may not assign or transfer your rights and obligations without HEJobs’ prior written approval.
13. This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts and waive objections to venue or forum.
14. HEJobs retains all intellectual property rights in its data and services. You agree not to infringe these rights without prior written consent, including use of public domain information represented on HEJobs.
15. You agree not to use HEJobs infrastructure or technology to market any service to HEJobs.
